Where were you when you heard the tragic news? I was at work at my desk and got a call from my boss's mother who saw the first plane hit on t.v. As we were talking, people were scattering to our conference room to watch the news, then the second plane hit. I was the only employee sitting, working at my desk, while others were watching what unfolded next. It was like I was frozen in my chair. I can remember praying and hearing the reaction's of everyone watching on t.v. I wanted to leave and go home and be with my loved ones and hug them and tell them that I love them. Remembering today and praying for our Country....

I was on my way to work, I just took my son to school I wanted to turn around and take him home and hug him all day. I called the school and asked like a scared parent you will keep the kids in side today right? They said yes.
I remember it like yesterday.
Still makes me cry to this day. I wasn't around when JFK was shot, or Vietnam happened, or any of the other historical moments. This was my first and I'll always remember watching it unfold on television.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I'm remembering with you, too.
Susan
Thanks for commenting on my blog today. I remember the day like it was yesterday. My husband worked at the Board of Trade downtown and was being evacuated and I remember praying for God to just get him home safely. It is still such a sad day for me.
