The Biggest Loser Couples week 3

It's week 3 for my sister and myself. It seems to be easier as time goes by, but there have been some temptations here and there. It is weigh in time and here goes.....................................................
I lost 1 lb. this week. My sister also lost 1 lb. I told you we are twins.....I am not too thrilled about my 1 lb, but I cherish every ounce or pound I lose. I have to confess, I didn't exercise and was sick a few days which threw me off. I guess the handfuls of trail mix here and there didn't help any either and the extra pretzels and other nibbles while preparing dinner. My toughest time of day is when I come home from work. Next week will have higher numbers....so stay tuned. I am proud of US sis! We are in this together and we will be winners! Our Grand total so far is 8 1/2 lbs. lost each....Total 17 lbs. as a couple. I'm pretty sure we stayed above the yellow line this week.....I was sad to see the pink team leave last night...that Betty Sue is a feisty little momma.
Another fun picture of my sister, on the left and me at Destin Beach Florida on our sister vacation. Hopefully we will be going again July 2009, and wearing hot bathing suits!

Congrat. on your pound . . . you're right . . . we will do better next week tho! More exercising and less snacking . . . that's the key! You're right . . . we should invest in our itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow pok-a-dot bikini . . . LOL

Losing one pound is better than gaining one pound. Keep up the good work!

You are doing so good! 1 pound is so much better than no pounds or even *gaining* a pound. Thanks for being a faithful cheerleadr on my weight loss blog!

I finally got to watch the show last night. There's a lot of drama, but I love to see the people's transformations. It is so encouraging and incredible. I think any pound lost is a definite victory! Great job.

Yay for a pound. Good for you in not letting that discourage you. Any kind of loss is a positive one when it comes to the battle of the scale!! Keep up the great work!! Wish that I lived closer as I am always looking for someone to walk with that doesn't mind the chattering of the children ....

But, just for the record, I think that you are already one good looking granny - I can hardly wait to see what being the winner of this challenge will bring forth. Perhaps a cover shoot on Vanity Fair?

Keep up the good work.
One down is still good!
Better gone than wearing it. ;)

Yeah Mimi! I am proud of you and your sister! One pound is great! It is better than not losing at all!

I, too, was sick this weekend. I am fearful that I am not going to lose when I weigh in this Saturday. I'll let you know!

Good Job! I just LOVE the BL! It is such a great show!
