I went for a walk on my lunch hour today across the street from where I work. This is a very beautiful lake and it has a nice little road around the lake which is a little over 1 mile. I found it to be very peaceful, spiritual and fulfilling. I listened to a variety of songs on my ipod then I came back to work and ate my lunch. I have had so much more energy since I started back exercising and eating right. I am very sore, but that's a good thing. This has been a Great Day. My boss surprised me with a large pot of beautiful purple tulips and a very meaningful card for Administrative Day. It feels great to know I am appreciated at work.

What a lovely scene and a beautiful note... and your tulips are a wonderful tribute to you! Happy Earth Day!
beautiful scenery . . . and why haven't we been doing this walking thing earlier! duh?
I know that park, but I associate it more with many, many softball games. Enjoy your tulips. It was a nice day to walk outside!
Love it! You have found a beautiful place to walk! I know exactly what you are talking about when you say more energy through excericise and eating right! I did stop to smell my flowers today and does a walk through a train yard count? I was walking fast and started a slight sweat!! LOL!! Doesn't matter, still hit the gym after work! A very good day!
Hey girl....it was so good to hear from you!
And I have to say I love what I hear in your voice here....peace!
I will join you in the area of soreness. My work out buddy has been pushing me hard...these old legs are letting me know that they are awake.
What a great place to walk...a little blessing from God.
I know you will be enjoying those tulips...I have been amazed by the beauty of the ones we have seen as we have been walking through the neighborhood.
Have a great day...it was so sweet to hear from you.
I bet the tulips were absolutely beautiful. I'm so giddy about the nicer weather finally coming here. We had snow Tuesday but actually will be in the 70's tomorrow. ahhhh.... I want to shout for jot :).
