Time sure does fly!

It seems like yesterday that my first born grandson, Noah, on the right was born. I can still see and hear his daddy running down the hospital hall yelling "We have a ball player"!!!!
The overwhelming feeling I had inside is unexplainable......
17 months later, #2 grandson Carter, on the left came along.....I felt another overwhelming feeling of excitement.....These 2 little boys are best buds. They are like twins.....They look out for one another......They start school today....Carter in 1st grade, Noah in 2nd grade. They are watching for the school bus. Their mommy took these pictures this morning.
I pray protection over these 2 little angels....

I forgot to tell you that as they were getting on the bus, Carter said in his loud voice, "Miss Brenda! I'm going to First Grade!!"

Also- Noah, Carter, Gray, & I stood in the driveway, held hands in a circle, and prayed protection over their bus rides, learning at school, and playing on the playground.

My Noah is so sad that he doesn't get to ride the bus to school (it's a charter school). I always think it's funny because I was always sad that I HAD to ride the bus.

They are such sweet boys. And Carter's backpack. It's as big as he is.

What a sweet picture. They grow up so fast. Today is my son, Kyle's first day as a freshman!

They look so little getting on that big bus! I agree that this will be an awesome school year for both of them.

My goodness have backpacks gotten bigger since Steph and I were kids!! I don't even think I had a backpack at that age. They must really pile on the work these days! haha

Awwwwwwww - so bittersweet to see kids grow up. My 4 year old went to his second year of early education program at school and I bawled!
