Random Thoughts

...It's been 3 months since my dad went to heaven.

...I wake up a lot of mornings and look at the clock and it's 4:15....my dad died at 4:15

...I've neglected my blog because I've lost the desire to journal. I want the desire back.

...My sister will be here in 33 days. It just happens that she will be home on Father's Day.

...I do more frowning than smiling lately.

...My grandson, Noah calls me almost every day at 4:00 to ask how my day was. SMILE.

...My dad use to call me every day at 4:00 to ask how my day was.

...I put going to Curves on hold, since I don't have the time or desire to go right now.

...I am a stress eater and I would like to change that.

...I love having manicures.

...The highlight of Mother's Day was watching my daughter directing "Listen To Your Mother".

...I am hooked on Celebrity Apprentice.

...I am thankful for my husband, loving his mother-in-law like he does.

...I love listening to K-love radio while working.

...I enjoy Sunday mornings having breakfast out with hubby and my mom.

...I'm sad that we won't be going on our Sister Vacation this year to Florida.

...I miss my hairdresser, Vicky. My hair has been very sad since she passed away.

...I'm burnt out on chicken salad.

...I would love to go back in time and have a slice of Sally's cheese pizza at Woolworth's with my sister, with ketchup on top, of course.

...I'm looking forward to my new King size bed, thanks to my daughter, Steph.

And on this thought, I will sign off....

random thoughts are always a nice start back.

I loved seeing you at LTYM, so did my mom. You looked fabulous, as always.

I hope the sun shines just
a bit brighter for you this week.

xoxo

Go back to Curves even if you don't feel like it. Exercise gives you endorphins to make you feel good. Just do it (as they say) even if you have to force yourself. Get your exercise clothes out before you go to bed. When you wake up, sit up and put those clothes on and go out the door. You won't regret it. What would your Dad want you to do?

I wish we all could do breakfast every weekend. That would be fun. Noah has you on his mind as soon as he walks in that door from school.

I wanted so much to be at Steph's show, but there was a family party that night that I couldn't miss. I'm sorry you are missing your sister trip this year. I know how much you love it and look forward to it. I agree with Carolyn. Just go back to Curves and get back in your groove. You'll feel better just by going. Love and miss you!

I think of you every single day. You are constantly in my heart, my mind and my prayers. I know the feelings of emptiness and loss... and the clocks that seem always to remind us. Your Noah is an angel on earth... your Dad knows this, too. I wish I had a magic wand, dear friend... I would use my one wish on you. Love you... xo!

Sorry to hear you are feeling down and glum. It's time to jsut go with it, as greiving is a process. Start back slowly with the things you love doing. Be gentle with yourself.

It certainly is an eye opener for those of us who are middle aged isn't it? I used to long for the day when I was more established, I thought stupidly that I would have more time when my children were grown. I didnt't think about all the "grown up" circumstances that would invade my mind, and my time. I didn't think about aging, or the aging (rapidly) of my loved ones and the needs that they would have. You my dear are not alone, and enjoy the wonderful special people you have with you in your life.

I like random thoughts. My blog is so stagnant, it seems silly to start up again. Like talking to myself and I'm boring. :)
