The Biggest Loser Couples week 9

Week 9 and still going strong. My new best friend is the chicken,
spinich/mushroom Panini by Lean Quisine. I can actually eat them everyday and still not get sick of them. I also love the weight control banana bread oatmeal. I find something that I like and eat it until I burn out on it. But that is what works for me. I do get in some fresh steamed veggies now and then and let's not forget the fruit & boston cream pie yogurt & weight watcher's ice cream....YUM. My grand-daughter's birthday party was Sunday. I had a small slice of cake since my lovely daughter-in-law baked it and it was a celebration, but I said No to the scoop of ice cream. I was so proud of myself for not snacking on the chips and other munchies and dips. Having 4 grandkids to chase after and play with kept my mind off the food....Thanks kids!
Now to the weigh in.....Drum Roll.......
I lost .4 oz. My sister, Diane lost 1 lb. I guess every ounce counts. Way to go Diane...you are the biggest loser this week. Watch out, cause I am stepping up my game this week.
That brings our totals to 14 lbs for me and 16.6 lbs for Diane. I am buying that treadmill this week for sure......I can't let my big sis beat me.....although it is really not about competetion for me. I want us both to be healthy together. Thanks sis for being here for me and keeping me motivated..... It won't be long until we are back to our girly figures like in this picture taken in the 1980's. We were babes! Diane on the left, me on the right.

OMG . . . that bathing suit did NOTHING for my figure (even @ that size . . . which is right around the corner)!! And WHERE WERE THE SUNGLASSES! No wonder I have wrinkles today! LOL WTG girlfriend . . . keep up the good work! This will be my difficult week 'cause I'll be baking cakes and doing some 'homecooking' 'cause the Princess is coming to Louisiana with her parents of course!

Yeah Diane, look how white you were and tanned I was. Usually it is turned around. Don't sweat it this week with your Princess coming, Abby will keep you hopping and you will burn off that birthday cake.

Way to go!
I finally watched that show for the first time last night. It kinda made me want to put the cookie down for 5 minutes or so...

You're right...every ounce counts. I eat the Weight control Banana oatmeal every morning. I do pour a dollop of skim milk in it though just to make it a little creamier. I weigh in tomorrow and I'll post the results.

This could quite possibly be my favorite picture you've posted yet. Great job on the weigh ins for both of you.

You are so dedicated. I do the same thing with food. I'll find something I really enjoy, and then eat it every day until I'm sick of it. Right now, it's multi-grain crackers with hummus, and for dessert, a tangerine.

Yay Rhonda for having the will power to stay away from the salty snack foods - they are my downfall and sadly, I still can't do anything about my willpower over them.

I really admire you and your sister for your dedication and support to each other for your weight loss.
