So, when I got to work yesterday, I was reading a few blogs (on my 15 min. break, of course) and saw that crooked eyebrow was going to see Neil Diamond in concert this weekend. I commented on her blog that I would LOVE to see him.....the next thing I knew, she emailed me that she just happened to have 2 more tickets and the best part was, they were FREE.....and Bingo, I was invited to go! She asked if I wanted to invite my daughter, Steph.Of course she wanted to go cause she is a fan also and heard me play and sing his songs growing up. The NEAT part is, crooked eyebrow is taking her mom who just so happens to have the exact Birthday as mine. Same day and year! July 30, 1956.................Her mom and I will be meeting for the first time and I am so looking forward to our night out. I can't thank CE enough for making one of my dreams come true and making this a super exciting Birthday for me.
I will be crawling into work on Monday morning from a late night, but it will be so worth it! We plan on dining at a French restaurant before the concert. Now, What to Wear? I have 29 hours to decide.
Isn't he good on the eyes?????

I was trapped in a car once for 2 hours with Neil Diamond's greatest hits. Sigh. I'm not that big of a fan.
Oh I found out you guys were going from Steph-have fun! I have always been a fan ever since I was little and saw The Jazz Singer. Where are you guys having dinner? French you say? Happy b-day too!

Good for you. I'm going to see him on Tuesday in Indianapolis. I thought about seeing him tonight and tomorrow, too, at the United Center, but decided it might make me a stalker. I'm not sure what the actual definition is.

OMG!!!! I am so jealous!! I love him. I so need to move to chicago and hang with you all! *sigh*
I'm not a Neil Diamond fan. Sorry. But I can rejoice with you in going to see him live. There is nothing like seeing a band or performer you love, live! I saw the Newsboy last week, and it was so awesome. Call me weird, but it's such a rush when you are standing shoulder to shoulder, smashed in front of the stage, and in my case, singing praise songs with all these people and a great band. Love it! You will have so much fun. Enjoy yourself, and the French cuisine.
