Christmas Memories of 2012

Christmas 2012 was different than any other.  Steph and family were in Ohio and didn't come home.  It was the first Christmas without our daughter.  We still had a great time celebrating with Nate, Elsa, Abby & Jack on Christmas Eve., then we all went to Church for the candle light service.  We all came back to my house for Birthday Ice Cream Cake and sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus.
Christmas Day we woke up and opened our presents with Steph, Jeff, Noah, Carter, Gray & Ivy via Skype.  We went one by one and it was fun.  It was almost like being there in person.  At noon, Mike and I went over Elsa's parents house for lunch.  We had a nice time.  We came home after that and relaxed.  We were excited to learn that we would be spending New Year's with Steph and family.  There is always something to look forward to.  It was a very Merry Christmas!

I'm glad you had a good Christmas. I was kind of worried about you with it being so different with Steph gone. What's with the comment above mine??? xo

It was different kind of Christmas, for sure, but I think it's a good feeling to know we are all moving forward!
