Lazy Saturday

I don't know what's wrong with me today. I feel so laaaazy....I woke up way too early and made a delicious breakfast of homemade waffles with strawberries. I thought that maybe the coffee would give me some energy. I crawled to get my laundry to start a load. I barely could squeeze the trigger to the Method bottle I use to clean the bathrooms. I am sitting here still in my P.J.'s and it is almost Noon. This is Not Me! I did do something productive in between all of the other stuff. I cleaned out my closet and sorted my clothes and got out my summer ones and put away the winter ones. I managed to fill a garbage bag with clothes I don't wear anymore to take to Goodwill. I just want to crawl back in bed and watch the Lifetime channel on t.v. and just lay like brocoli. But the guilt is getting to me as I write, so I am going to force myself in the shower and put on my new Disney T-shirt & Mickey Mouse ears that my daughter brought me back from her trip and make the most of this beautiful Saturday....I feel better already.... Thanks for listening...

Those waffles sound good- and I'm about to go clean my closet, too!

I am trying to picture you walking around the house in mickey mouse ears!
That would be a good picture.
Today was a lazy day for us too. Maybe it was the rain or maybe it is all the food I have eaten since we have Keith's brother in town. I have eaten enough seafood to turn into a crawfish.
The scales will not be nice monday.

Your lazy sounds productive to me!

Yeah, that's a pretty productive lazy. There have been Saturdays I didn't shower and get moving until after 2:00. The dirt and laundry will still be there. It's ok to be lazy sometimes:)

I want some yummy waffles! Next time, I'll come over in my jammies and we can be lazy and eat waffles together! But, for my sake, make your lazy a little more laaaaazzzzy, not quite so productive!!

You know, sometimes your body is just telling you to take a break! I have lazy days quite often on the weekends, but yes, the guilt does set in. I, too, need to clean my house, and my closets! Of course, mother nature has not made her mind up yet as to which season it is so just as soon as I put winter away, it will come back!

I hope your Sunday feels more productive than yesterday! And, thank you for the comment on my blog this morning. :) That was a nice way to start the day. My sister is doing well. She will know more in the next few weeks. :) I'll post more when I can!

I think your body is telling you to slow it down and have some couch time, too.

We all have those days. And I admit catching Lifetime Movie Network when I want to zone out. =)

It sounds like you accomplished a lot for someone who feels like she's dragging herself along. You deserve to be able to crawl back in bed and watch Lifetime.

I love it. A Disney shirt AND ears. Must. POst.Picture. ASAP.
I felt like this Monday.
No energy at all. Like I left it somewhere, you know? Can't we take a pill, or something? Well, I guess we COULD...but it would probably be illegal. Now I'm rambling. I'll stop.
Sorry.

I found you through Steph's blog. What a beautiful mother's day post she wrote. I have two daughters of my own, ages 25 and 18 and I can't wait until one of them has children of her own :) Lazy days are fun days....I cleaned out my garage last time I had a lazy day LOL.
