Clean Slate

Our message at church on Sunday was "Clean Slate". Yesterday, I started my day with a clean slate. I erased the past failures and started fresh. I got back on those dreaded scales and faced it! I felt so much better knowing that it was a new day, new year, new me. I want to eat healthy and be healthy so I can be around for my family. I want to move more and get back on that treadmill.
I can report that I did eat healthier on my first day back and I snuck and weighed and was down 1.8 lbs. I allowed myself 1 small candy cane as my treat for the day. The other things I ate were healthy and I ate dinner off of a small plate and only 1 helping.
I want to start with a clean slate in every aspect of my life. I am really excited to see where 2009 takes us.

What can I say after that?

Seriously, best of luck and happy new year. I'm with you- I love starting EVERY day as a clean slate- a chance to do God's will.

We are definitely having a clean slate for 2009 as well. I just know this will be a great year for all. You can do the weight loss... YOU GO!!!

I am working on this thing too.
At least I can say that I am moving forward with something. There is nothing worse than having achieved nothing.
