Jack is already 2 weeks old. We got to babysit for about 45 min. with him last night while his mommy & daddy ran to the store. His mommy was very nervous about leaving him because he is nursing, but he had just eaten 30 min. before. They made me promise that I would call immediately if he started crying. Well, about 20 min. into it, he looked like a little bird, opening up his mouth looking for his food and got mad. I knew that I had better alert the food supply. I called to see if they were at the check out, which they were. I handed him off to Grampa, who put him in a trance by singing "Jackson row the boat ashore Hallelujah". Within 10 min. Elsa belted through the front door and scooped him up to feed him. Abby slept most of the time they were gone. I was able to snap this picture. Isn't he sweet?
He is so sweet! How fun that you got to keep him, if only for a little bit. And how nice for them that they got a few minutes alone. I'm trying to catch up on all things in bloggy world. I've been so behind since I got back from the cruise.
Jack is sweet and adorable and beautiful and such a guy! He is ALL BOY! When you wrote about Elsa being nervous about leaving him because of nursing, you made me immediately remember about when Jane was a baby... my beloved mother-in-law would watch her if Barry and I had to run out and Jane would inevitably NEED TO NURSE no matter when she last ate! And those were the days of NO CELL PHONES!? How did we do it? How did our mothers do it!? I guess we and they just figured things out... like Grandpa singing a lovely song. Oh, Rhonda... I can FEEL your joy in each word! Jack has certainly blessed your family all over again! When is someone going to invent the technology to let me jump through and kiss his kissable cheeks!!??
Look how sweet he is...He is just too cute. Congratulations on your new addition. I know you all are so blessed and thankful to have him. How is big sister reacting? :)
