My sister, Diane, is SO excited this morning to wake up to snow! She lives in Louisiana and it never snows there. She is in her p.j.'s playing in the snow....She was brought up in the North and married and moved to the South, so she really misses snow, especially around Christmas time. Her grandchildren have never seen snow, so she called them this morning and they are jumping up for joy. They are even calling off some schools, can you believe? This is a dusting of snow, but to them it is a blizzard.

Oh I'm so excited for them!!
How exciting! The pictures are so much fun! I'm in Texas - where is the snow?!
Cheffie-Mom - the snow was in Lake Charles! Houston, Texas got some of the white stuff too!
The snow angel ---- by far the best picture! How cute.
This post is so wonderful with your sister's excitement! Snow just does something for the soul...
I was born in Michigan and my mom comes from Boston, so I saw lots of snow as a child. But then my dad was stationed in San Diego for 4 years, and my brothers and I longed for snow. One day a neighbor came back from the mountains with a truckload of snow and dumped it on our street! The kids went wild... and we were the only kids with mittens. My mom had tucked them away for when we returned east! I still remember that day with such joy!
It's so fun to see people in the snow that don't see it much. I know living in Florida last year, we missed the snow soooooo much.
So glad your sister and her family go to enjoy it :)
That's adorable. Yay for snow! We're hoping to come to LA over New Year's for the Sugar Bowl.... I can't wait!
Your sis looks just as fun as you are! How great for them. :)
Exciting for them. I could do without the cold though. I really am NOT a cold weather person. I love snow as long as I don't have to be out in it at all. I just like to watch it through the window.
