Power in Prayer

I don't want to bore you with a post about sickness and spending the weekend in bed. I believe in the power of prayer. I just wanted to share this scripture with you this beautiful Sunday morning. 1 Peter 2:24. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree,(cross) that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye (we) are Healed! You see, I woke up this morning to reading a comment on my blog that was a prayer for me and my healing. Then I open my bible to find a copy of an email from a few years ago from a precious friend and it was speaking on this verse. So, I just wanted to share this with you this morning. If you are sick in body, mind or spirit, please let God know and accept your healing. Happy Sunday! Let us Rejoice and be Glad!

Prayer is not only powerful in healing and helping, but in bringing together people from the most unlikely places... like blogging!

God's way is sometimes not so mysterious after all!

Hey Dearie,

I've been sick for awhile too, now. Thanks so much for this verse, it really spoke to me. I will expect His healing and rejoice! Olive U.

Sorry I've been behind again and didn't know you were sick. Hope you're up to par now.
I think the valentine tree looked so pretty, good idea. I hate to get everything taken down too, after pushing myself for so long to get it all up.

Thanks for the review on the Snuggie. Steve wanted to get one and I said just wear your robe backwards. Now I can tell him the Snuggies aren't worth it.

Take care of yourself.
