The Biggest Loser Couples Week 4

It's week 4 for my sister and myself and It has been a much more trying week for me. I am bored with chicken.....I feel like I am clucking instead of talking. I don't care for fish. I guess you could say, I could go without eating meat and not miss it. You know those 90 & 100 cal. snacks that are in those little itty bitty packs? Well, I found myself eating more than 1 little pack at times when I would try to satisfy my cravings. I don't think it's a good idea to buy those by the case from Costco, unless they are under lock and key! I am bored with the frozen Smart One & Heathly Choice meals. I need more variety and easy recipes. I do have a praise report though.....4 weeks without a craving for pizza, my weakness.
OK, time to step on the scale.........Drum Roll Please......
I maintained....0 Loss for me......My sister lost 1.4 lbs.....HOORAY for Diane! You are the Biggest Loser.....So proud of you.... Our totals are 8 1/2 for me, 9.9 lbs for Diane.
I know what I need to do to step it up next week. I am not discouraged.....Next week I will have a lossThis is my sister, on the left and me at a conference dinner during our Sister Vacation in Florida. We ate very healthy that night. NOT. The red velvet cake was awesome.

Not sure if this helps: i read somewhere that people do this...to stop a craving (after 1 100 calorie pack--and trust me I can eat 4 no prob!)...people will put one of those Listerine breath strips in their mouth. It kinda numbs the taste buds and clears out the taste.

Just a tip. Hope it helps. I'm sure you will do great this week.

At least you didn't gain. Always focus on the positives and congrats to your sister.

Rhonda, Like Courtney said you didn't gain so that is good. You'll do it next week, do some leg lifts at your desk. Or maybe we could do some Jane Fonda at lunch. lol

Congrats to Diane the Biggest Loser. (I see you as a winner!)

Thanks Amy! I do feel like a winner to have my 'little sis' . . . she's a winner in my book! It was easier for me this past week 'cause I've been so busy all week in court! No time for snacking . . . look out next week tho!
I am the Biggest Loser this week tho!

I'd love to share recipes with you. We are eating awesome, and still losing! Weight Watchers has a recipe magazine sold at local stores that has really yummy recipes! Yeah for your sis, and yeah for you for not gaining! I am proud of you!

Yeah, you didn't gain!
One thing I noticed that sometimes helps me is to have a warm or hot drink like herbal tea, chicken broth, or a hot cocoa packet (with skim milk). It doesn't always curb my night time snacking, but sometimes it works.
I wish I was ready to undertake what you are doing.

OOOOOH, I love red velvet cake!! Most people I've talked to have never heard of it...it's a southern thing I guess. Keep up the great attitude :-) Losing weight is a process, that's for sure! Praise God for no gain :-))

I admire you for your dedication to your weight loss goals. I think that it is really tough and it is easy to get down when one doesn't see results.

And besides, just because the scale doesn't show a weight loss, don't forget that it also doesn't show any inches lost. Perhaps you lost the inches rather than the pounds.
