Here we go again.....My sister and her family are under another mandatory evacuation due to the threat of hurricane Ike. This morning she went back to her daughter & son-in-laws house where she went during Gustav. Please say a prayer for their safety as well as others in these areas. My brother-in-law has to stay back again and work at the prison escorting prisoners out again and working long hours. He has not rested up from Gustav. Oh man, how hard on all of them, but wonderful that she gets to spend this time with her daughter. I will keep her and others in my thoughts and prayers, keep us updated like you did last time please.
I have a friend from this area who is there with a medivac company airlifting NICU patients out of the path of the storm. It affects so many people. Lots of people are praying.
How is the weather been for them? We don't have a TV and we listen to Canadian new on the radio and their is not a lot of update on hurricane!!!
Update on Ike . . . no power here right now and probably for a while . . . we're all running on generators! We still have tornado warnings everywhere . . . but we're all safe & sound! Thanks for praying again!
