My Sunday morning started off by driving a few miles down the road to the Apple Orchard to be one of the first when they opened. I wanted to surprise my daughter and family with freshly made apple cinnamon & pumpkin donuts, apple cider and of course the best apples. We like the gala apple or the honey crisp. When I got out of my van to go in, I looked across the street at a beautiful farm field with the sun rising. I stood and actually looked around and just soaked in God's beauty. Lately, I have not taken time to stop and do this. I had worship music playing on the radio and I stood by the van and took pictures and Thanked God for the many blessings he has given me. Then my hubby and I went to a very neat little restaurant by our walking trail in town and ate the best breakfast. After breakfast, I went to pick up my mom and just her and I went to Steph's to see Baby Ivy. My mom had not seen her since she's been born. She was so excited to hold her Great grand-daughter. I thought how neat it would be to have a Generation picture taken while we were there, so Steph set the camera and we got some really great pictures. Steph, Mimi, Ivy & Great Mommal. My mom gave Ivy lots of kisses! After our visit with Steph & Ivy (Jeff & boys were at church), I took her shopping for some new clothes and we went to lunch. I love spending time with my mom, just the 2 of us....She is a very classy lady and the most wonderful mother! The day could not have been more perfect!
This time last week we were waiting on Ivy's arrival. We are such a Blessed Family!

You all look great and so happy!
You are so inspirational. You are one of the most blessed people I know. You are so positive. Thank you for being a blogging buddy! (:
Oh, Rhonda... what a perfectly special day. It is remarkable to have 4 generations, and to all enjoy each other so much. It is truly a blessing. I so miss my beautiful mother-in-law, but I thank God each day for my mom. I treasure each moment that we have. And the photos! Splendid!
That is such a sweet picture of Mommal with Ivy! I know she loved holding her. And we LOVED the donuts. They are almost all gone!

I am so glad you came by for a visit. I have been thinking of you too. And of course when the new season of The Biggest Looser came on I thought of your journey last year. Then of course I wondered how you were doing....but during my computer issues I lost ya.
SO it was good to see you again.
Congrats on the new baby...what sweet pictures.
I love the pictures of the barn and your trip to get things for the family....don't you just love the fall?
Good to see you again friend.
Aw, when we were there the big cornucopia wasn't set up yet. I usually try to get a class picture in it. Oh well, it wouldn't have been fun in the rain anyway.
I'm glad you got to pick apples and have a great day with family!
I love this time of year ans the orchard. I need to get out and get some of those Galas. Love the generations photo!

Sounds wonderful.
I keep thinking about those donuts. The apple cinnamon are my fav!
It's hard when I crave them in the Spring because they're not open then.
Love the generation pic! How precious and exciting!
What a perfect day! I *love* their apple cider donuts, especially when you get them freshly made. Yum! I definitely need to go soon.
What a perfect day!
